Free passes to athletic events offered to senior citizens, first responders and others


WEST COLUMBIA, SC -- Senior citizens, first responders and others in Lexington Two are being offered passes for the 2018-19 school year that allow free admission to most regular season Lexington Two athletic events.


Silver Passes are offered to any resident of Lexington Two ages 65 and older.  Eligible residents may stop in from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. August 17 at the Lexington Two District Education Center, 715 Ninth St., West Columbia, to have a permanent picture ID Silver Pass made. Residents must bring a picture ID that proves their residency and age.


All-Sports Passes are offered to elected officials, licensed ministers, police officers and firefighters who serve in Lexington Two’s attendance area.  The pass, which is renewable annually, also will be distributed August 17 to eligible recipients.


Both the Silver Pass and All-Sports Pass offer free admission to Lexington Two athletic events, excluding the Pigskin Classic, Sportsarama, holiday tournaments and play-off games.
